Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer, Developer Systems to own end-to-end software for mission-critical applications supporting SpaceX programs and Starlink growth. You will design, develop, and deploy systems across manufacturing and operations, with a focus on reliability and scalability.

You'll collaborate with engineers across SpaceX to move fast, write clean code, and continuously improve how we build, test, and monitor software in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS, engineering or similar field or 2+ years of software experience
• 1+ year full stack development
• Experience with modern web apps and APIs

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across SpaceX
• Create new applications that improve how SpaceX operates
• Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into your users’ problems to find and create efficient solutions
• Bring your voice to the table in team collaborations on architecture, design, and code reviews
