Job summary

SpaceX, based in Hawthorne, CA, seeks a Senior/Full Stack Software Engineer for Manufacturing Systems to join the application software team, building mission-critical tools for Starship production and Starlink services. You will own full software lifecycle, partner with cross-functional teams, and impact high-throughput manufacturing in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience building software in lieu of a degree
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Strong design and problem-solving skills; experience designing scalable software systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and testing for reliability
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, or Java

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX
• Create new applications to improve SpaceX operations
• Build prototypes to prove key design concepts and constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Analyze user problems to create efficient solutions
