Job summary

City Light & Power, Inc. (CLP) is expanding its Construction PMO and seeks a Project Manager for federal, municipal, and private-sector construction in a hybrid Denver environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with engineers and field staff, and ensure safety and quality across complex design-build programs.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of commercial construction experience, federal project exposure, and PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• PMI PMP certification is a plus.
• 5–10 years of experience managing medium-to-large commercial construction projects.
• Federal project experience (USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC) strongly preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, specs, and proposals; capable of time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute federal, municipal, and private-sector construction projects with emphasis on federal work.
• Oversee subcontractors and site superintendents.
• Develop budgets, schedules, logistics plans, and construction service plans with engineering teams.
• Review design documents for scope and contract compliance.
• Produce progress, risk, and financial reports.
• Travel 20–30% to project sites and lead project meetings.
• Build and maintain client relationships across sectors.
• Develop site logistics plans with the Site Superintendent.
• Oversee procurement, cost control, and change management.
• Perform field inspections and ensure QA/QC; uphold safety values.
