Job summary

ABM is seeking a Facility Manager in San Francisco, CA to oversee multi-facility operations, lead a team of technicians and coordinators, and ensure 100% availability of mission‑critical infrastructure. You’ll drive safety, reliability, and continuous improvement while managing budgets, SLAs, and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with CMMS, and collaboration with clients to maintain service excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication to C‑level and below
• 5+ years in a management role with 5+ direct reports
• Experience generating cost savings through continuous improvement
• Electrical or mechanical experience is a plus
• Experience purchasing and managing subcontracts and vendors

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the client’s critical physical infrastructure
• Ensure high-quality work without impact to internal/external customers
• Manage the team including Assistant Facility Manager and technicians
• Develop annual preventive maintenance shutdown program
• Lead safety, reliability, and budget adherence across facilities
• Audit CMMS data accuracy and generate customer reports
• Ensure SLA compliance and change control across systems
• Manage vendor relationships and subcontractor approvals
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, and payroll processes
