Job summary

The Lead Electrical Engineer – Mission Critical at Sky Mavis will lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for mission‑critical facilities, including data centers and high‑reliability environments. You will drive power distribution, grounding, UPS, and redundancy strategies, ensuring 24/7 uptime and energy efficiency.

You will collaborate with architectural, mechanical, and structural teams, mentor junior engineers, and stay ahead of industry standards and emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PE license required.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, with ≥5 years on mission‑critical projects.
• Proficiency in power analysis tools such as SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for mission‑critical projects, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Develop power distribution, grounding, UPS, emergency power, and redundancy strategies for data centers and high‑availability facilities.
• Perform short‑circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies to improve reliability and safety.
