Job summary

Vantari Recruitment Group in Rapid City, SD is seeking an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to own the complete hardware development lifecycle, delivering robust mixed‑signal and high‑speed boards for defense and aerospace applications.

You will drive from requirements and architecture through schematic design, PCB layout, bring-up, qualification and production release, collaborating with firmware, software, mechanical and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional electrical hardware design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience owning PCB development from schematic design through bring-up and validation.
• Strong mixed-signal and/or high-speed digital circuit-design experience.
• Experience with processors, FPGAs or microcontrollers, memory, communication interfaces, power electronics or sensors.
• Proficiency with ECAD platforms (Altium, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD).
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up, laboratory testing, debugging and qualification.
• Experience collaborating with firmware, software, mechanical, systems and manufacturing teams.
• US citizenship or Green Card; visa sponsorship not available.
• $150K-$200K base salary, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
