Job summary

1st Edge LLC seeks a skilled Software Engineer to develop and maintain software for Missile Defense Agency in a DoD facility on Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. You will design and implement complex applications, including front-end interfaces, visualization tools, and database interactions.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/related fields, and the ability to obtain/maintain a secret clearance. On-site, full-time position with DoD customers.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of related experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have, and be able to maintain, a secret security clearance.
• Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, mathematics, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, verify, sustain and fully document software for missile defense data center applications.
• Develop complex software applications with graphical front-end interfaces, visualization toolsets, SQL Database interfaces, multi-user GUI interfaces, and rule base assessments.
• Migrate legacy COTS/GOTS on-premises hardware and software to the agency hybrid cloud services.
• Work as part of an integrated software development team across multiple efforts.
