Job summary

Legion Intelligence is seeking a Manager of Deployment Engineering to lead the team responsible for deploying, operating, upgrading, and sustaining Legion software across customer environments. The role blends hands-on technical execution with strategic leadership, owning operational readiness, platform reliability, and deployment automation across a growing footprint.

Qualifications

7+ years in DevOps or SRE roles
2+ years leading technical teams
Experience in U.S. Government defense or intelligence environments
Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, accreditation processes, and security hardening requirements
Strong experience operating Kubernetes-based production environments
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Experience operating customer-facing production systems

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps and DevSecOps engineers.
Establish DevOps standards, operational processes, and team priorities.
Foster ownership, accountability, technical excellence, and customer focus.
Coordinate work across deployments, platform operations, and internal infrastructure.
Drive operational rigor with a bias toward execution and delivery.
Oversee deployments, upgrades, and incident responses across customer environments.
