Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or similar customer-facing engineering roles.
• Production-quality software development with proficiency in C++, C#, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience troubleshooting software systems, integrations, or networking and communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while collaborating with customers and engineering teams.
• Prior military experience and Active Secret clearance preferred, willingness to work onsite at Fort Belvoir and travel ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support AtomEngine in live training environments, including classified and air-gapped systems.
• Embed onsite with customers at Fort Belvoir to understand needs and feed back to Product/Engineering.
• Integrate AtomEngine with partner systems by configuring APIs, networking, and infrastructure dependencies.
• Identify improvements from backlog and contribute to engineering backlog with Godot, C++, C#, Python.
• Explain complex concepts to military stakeholders and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Improve documentation, deployment processes, and repeatability for scalable deployments.
• Travel occasionally to support customer engagements and exercises.
