Job summary

OnQCx is seeking an experienced Security/Telecom Superintendent to lead on-site installation, coordination, and quality of low-voltage systems for a large-scale project. You will act as the on-site SME, ensuring safe delivery on schedule and above quality standards in data center environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction supervision with 5+ years on security/telecom/low-voltage systems
• Experience on mission-critical projects (data centers, hospitals, large industrial)
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and fiber/copper installation practices
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, one-lines, and shop drawings
• Effective communicator and problem-solver coordinating across stakeholders
• Familiarity with safety protocols and QA/QC in construction environments
• Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office)

Responsibilities

• Lead field supervision of subcontractors on security, telecom, and low-voltage installations (access control, CCTV, cabling)
• Coordinate with General Contractor, Owner's Rep, and trade partners to align activities with project schedule
• Ensure compliance with design documents, specs, and codes/standards
• Monitor progress, conduct daily walkdowns, and resolve field issues
• Oversee QA/QC processes, testing, inspections, and turnover packages
• Support commissioning and turnover of security/telecom systems
• Drive safety-first culture and enforce site safety requirements
• Report progress, risks, and mitigations to project leadership
• Review submittals, RFIs, and redlines to confirm constructability
• Support integration with mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure
