Job summary

TYG is seeking a senior Controls Engineer to design and integrate automation, monitoring and control systems for large-scale data center projects.

You will lead the development of BMS/BAS architectures, EPMS interfaces and plant-level control sequences, collaborating with mechanical, electrical and commissioning teams to ensure reliability, efficiency and uptime in mission-critical facilities. This role emphasizes ownership and hands-on design from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; equivalent controls/industry experience considered.
• EIT or PE licensure advantageous but not essential for strong hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Design automation, monitoring and controls systems for complex facilities.
• Develop controls drawings, specifications, points lists and sequences of operation.
• Engineer BMS and EPMS architecture across large-scale mechanical and electrical systems.
• Translate complex operational requirements into buildable controls designs.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and other mission-critical teams.
• Review shop drawings and documentation before construction release.
• Support projects through design, construction and commissioning.
