Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Construction Manager to lead end-to-end construction, startup, and commissioning of mission-critical data center projects. You will oversee low voltage systems, controls, and automation, coordinating with design teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in mission-critical environments, strong leadership, and knowledge of BMS/EPMS and IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing construction projects in mission-critical environments.
• Strong background in low voltage systems, controls, and automation.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure in large facilities.
• Experience leading large on-site teams and multiple trades.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
• PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end construction and commissioning of data center projects.
• Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders across all phases.
• Oversee installation of structured cabling, BMS/EPMS, EMS, sensors, and valves.
• Oversee startup and commissioning of installed equipment.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with codes and safety.
• Track progress, schedules, and escalate risks as needed.
• Ensure all control systems are commissioned and tested per design intent.
• Maintain documentation of construction activities and testing.
• Act as liaison between construction site and upper management.
• Be an ambassador of core values and professional development.
