Job summary

DLR Group is an integrated design firm seeking a Mission Critical Project Architect in Las Vegas to manage document development and coordinate with project teams for large, complex data center projects. You will partner with the Project Manager to ensure document quality and project schedule while leading cross-functional design disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Design.
• 4+ years working on Data Center projects.
• Working knowledge of the design and construction process and ability to communicate with professionals of other disciplines.
• Proficient in REVIT and CAD software.
• Ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the design disciplines in developing technical solutions.
• Provide mentorship to architectural staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge of professional practice from conceptual design to project close-out.
• Work in a team environment and also self-manage in a creative setting.
• Produce drawings with a high level of technical proficiency.
• Lead the project team to adhere to practice standards.
• Supervise the design and technical development of the project.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, and Engineers on conceptual development of documents.
