Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity to safeguard its information systems, data, users, and mission-critical technology environments across aerospace, defense, and space tech. This leader will own enterprise cybersecurity strategy and execution across security architecture, operations, vulnerability management, incident response, IAM, cloud security, and regulated-controls.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI US government security clearance is required at the time of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk experience.
• 5+ years leading security teams, programs, or major initiatives.
• Experience leading security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, endpoint security, and cloud security.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, NIST 800-53, DFARS, ITAR/EAR, CUI, risk management, audit readiness.
• Strong leadership, communication, budget management, and executive stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Voyager's cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, governance, and operating rhythms.
• Lead enterprise security programs protecting systems, engineering environments, cloud services, and regulated data.
• Translate requirements into practical cybersecurity priorities, policies, controls, and investments.
• Report security posture, risks, incidents, remediation progress, and strategic needs to the CIO and senior leadership.
• Oversee incident response, vulnerability management, SIEM/EDR, and related security tooling.
