Job summary

The Weitz Company in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Project Manager - Mission Critical Plus/Day 2 to lead on-site construction, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget alignment in live facilities. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and vendors to deliver premier results and maintain system reliability.

The role requires at least five years of PM experience in mission-critical environments, with a track record of mentoring teams and applying Lean practices to improve cost and schedule

Qualifications

• Five+ years of project construction management experience.
• Experience in mission-critical data center facilities or similar environments preferred.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop others.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution per contract terms, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead risk management and mitigation efforts across assigned project(s).
• Coordinate construction activities in live, mission-critical environments to ensure safety and uninterrupted operations.
• Partner with client operations teams, engineers, and stakeholders to maintain system reliability and plan outages.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and compliance with safety standards and contract requirements.
• Prepare and manage project financials, including billing, forecasting, and risk assessments.
• Lead project meetings, coordinate teams, and maintain strong client/vendor relationships.
