Job summary

Clark Technologies seeks a Commissioning & Startup Manager to lead the commissioning of designed, installed, and tested systems across sites, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.

You will coordinate owners, design teams, contractors, vendors, and testing providers; develop Commissioning Plans and SOPs; review OPR/BOD; perform energy analyses and startup activities; and manage field operations, schedules, and safety compliance on active projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline or relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of construction experience required; working for a general contractor is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commissioning process from project initiation through turnover, coordinating owners, design teams, contractors, vendors, and testing providers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop Commissioning Plans and Commissioning Reports
• Review Owner's Project Requirements (OPR) and Basis of Design (BOD) documents and verify alignment with project commissioning objectives.
• Perform commissioning-focused reviews
• Verify completion of equipment startup activities
• Develop functional performance test scripts and procedures
• Review and validate contractor, vendor, and third-party testing reports
• Prepare project proposals, budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports
• Coordinate with safety manager to ensure projects meet safety goals
