Job summary

Clark Water, a specialized group within Clark Construction, seeks a Commissioning & Startup Manager for water and wastewater projects. This role leads I&C/SCADA startup, commissioning, and training across multiple large-scale sites, including management of costs, schedules, and safety.

You will oversee contract administration, submittals, procurement, and execution of complex projects valued up to many millions, with substantial field work across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of construction experience with GC on water/wastewater projects.
• Ability to travel within the U.S. ~25%.
• Strong leadership, cost forecasting, and scheduling skills.
• Excellent communication and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and commissioning support for I&C/SCADA and DPCS systems.
• Lead startup, commissioning, training and close-out for water/wastewater facilities.
• Oversee contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduling.
• Develop logistics plans for projects valued $15–200M.
• Train plant operations on new controls and systems.
• Forecast costs, prepare proposals, budgets, and cost-tracking reports.
• Ensure safety rules and site procedures are followed.
