Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial seeks an Avionics Software Engineer in Fort Worth, TX for a 12-month contract. You will develop, modify, test, and document embedded software requirements for military aircraft upgrade programs, translating system requirements into software requirements and verification tests.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, experience with multiple programming languages, and familiarity with software test tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and how to translate system requirements into software requirements and tests.
Experience with static and dynamic software test tools.
Familiarity with multiple software languages.
Strong written and verbal communication and coordination across organizations.

Responsibilities

Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, design, develop, test and evaluate embedded software within avionics systems.
Develop, modify, test and document embedded software environment requirements for military upgrade programs.
Translate system requirements into software requirements and tests with traceability.
Plan and manage software integration activities to meet requirements.
Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure critical system performance.
