Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Avionics Integration Engineer to develop, manage, and communicate integration and test requirements for military upgrade programs.

The role involves planning, designing, and testing avionics systems, creating performance specs, interface control documents, and test procedures; you will analyze systems to verify requirements and manage integration efforts with cross-functional teams onsite in Fort Worth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred; bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline required.
• Experience with avionics systems integration and test.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple internal and external organizations.
• Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate avionics systems integration.
• Create system performance specifications, interface control documents, and test plans/procedures
• Performs air vehicle and systems level analysis to verify performance requirements are met
• Plans, supports, and manages integration projects to meet customer requirements.
• Works closely with other functional disciplines to ensure compliance to all critical performance parameters.
• Suggests design improvements / spiral opportunities to improve current integrated avionics and weapon system capabilities.
• Provides technical guidance and oversight of subcontractors to verify performance, cost, and schedule requirements are met.
• Works closely with the Business Development organization to propose technical solutions to support new business opportunities.
