Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Applications Software Engineer for internal systems. You will own the software lifecycle, build mission critical tools, and prototype designs to enable rapid Starship manufacturing and Starlink operations.

You’ll collaborate across teams to solve complex problems and deliver reliable solutions used in high throughput environments. The role emphasizes ownership, systems thinking, and hands-on development in a fast-moving aerospace context that aims to accelerate space

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline or 2+ years of software practice in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in full stack development and building scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications to improve SpaceX operations.
• Build prototypes to validate key design concepts and constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into users' problems to craft efficient solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, design, and code review discussions.
