Guidehouse is seeking a security-cleared professional to evaluate internal controls and support regulatory compliance within the Operational Effectiveness Consulting line in the United States. The role emphasizes safeguarding mission activities through rigorous audits and policy guidance.

The ideal candidate brings a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 10+ years of related experience (or 5+ years with a Master’s), and strong communication skills for collaboration with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph
• 10+ years evaluating internal controls in Intel/National Security (or 5+ years with Master’s).
• High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic evaluations of internal control systems and audit trails, with recommendations for improvements.
• Coordinate compliance training and procedural changes due to regulations.
• Monitor and analyze federal and status statutes for their impact on Agency and company operations.
• Provide guidance to departments on actions/policies, conformance tests and ongoing monitoring issues.

What You Will Do:

Candidate will perform services to ensure compliance with relevant laws, executive orders, directions, and regulations governing mission activities. Functions of the position include:

• Conduct periodic and systematic evaluations of internal control systems and audit trails and makes recommendations for continuous improvement in processes and controls.

• Coordinate compliance training and initiate changes in procedures due to new or revised regulations.

• Continuously monitor, research and analyze exiting, proposed and new federal and status statutes with respect to their present and future impact upon Agency and company operations.

• Provide guidance to other departments on the identification and documentation of required actions/policies, conformance tests and ongoing monitoring issues.

What You Will Need:

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a FULL SCOPE (FS/FSP) polygraph

• High School degree-GED

• TEN (10) or more years’ experience evaluating internal controls, supporting regulatory compliance, and implementing process improvements for Mission activities within the Intel or National Security environment -OR- Master’s degree with FIVE (5) or more years of relevant experience.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred

• Strong communication and writing skills.

• Experience working with executive level stakeholder groups.

• Working experience in the Intelligence Community and/or Department of War.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
