Job summary

General Dynamics - IT (GDIT) seeks a Trainer II for the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II program. You will help deliver Mission Command training, coordinate exercises, and support the readiness of the Nation’s Army at XVIII Airborne Corps locations.

Responsibilities include updating training packages, identifying gaps with leadership, and coordinating facilities and training plans, while maintaining SME certification requirements.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent education, certifications, training or military experience.
• 5+ years of relevant military experience.
• Current SECRET security clearance.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver Mission Command training based on event/exercise plans.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute collective Mission Command training.
• Identify training gaps with unit leadership and help fill them prior to execution.
• Update training support packages (TSP) and products.
• Maintain a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs.
• Develop training methods and materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids.
• Participate in planning meetings to coordinate training plans, facilities, and systems.
• Integrate Live, Virtual, Constructive, Command and Control capabilities within training environments.
• Provide over-the-shoulder training, integration, and simulation support in multiple functional areas.
• Achieve SME certifications and annual re-certification per PDCP.
