Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer to build and deploy critical software on a first-of-its-kind platform for the tactical edge. You will own data-rich mesh services, improve release processes, and ensure interoperable components across customers in varied environments.

You'll work with Go, Python, Java, C++, and Rust to solve complex problems in autonomy, networking, and distributed data layers, delivering high-quality software with a pragmatic, mission-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance required.
• 3–10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience handling data processing and analysis at scale.
• Ability to navigate complex systems and large codebases.
• Desire to deliver impactful software for real-world defense scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Own software solutions spanning mesh platforms, data interfaces, and release management deployed to customers.
• Deliver well-architected, scalable systems with code/design reviews and best practices.
• Drive end-to-end software delivery by translating user needs into features.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test cross-functional functionality.
• Monitor system health, triage issues, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Travel 10%–30% to engage with customers and field teams worldwide.
