Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer to build the foundational platform for the tactical edge. You will own core mesh components, data interfaces, and release management deployed to customers, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure software across environments.

You will collaborate with end-users to translate complex needs into features, drive end-to-end delivery, and contribute to field-tested capabilities like Lattice Mesh and Joint All Domain Command & Control.

Qualifications

• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
• Strong engineering background in CS/SE, Networking, Math or Physics.
• 3–10+ years with Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust.
• Experience with data processing and analysis.
• Ability to understand complex systems and existing codebases.
• Desire to work on mission-critical software with real-world impact.

Responsibilities

• Own software solutions spanning core mesh platforms and data interfaces.
• Deliver well-architected systems using modern software practices.
• Drive software end-to-end, translating user needs into features.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test functionality.
• Ensure health by monitoring metrics, triaging issues, and root-causing failures.
• Travel 10–30% to meet customers worldwide and test capabilities in the field.
