Job summary

NS2 Mission is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, develop, and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures supporting mission-critical applications. You will work with engineering teams to modernize deployments and deliver innovative cloud-native solutions within secure commercial cloud environments.

The role requires expert architectural experience, strong scripting skills (Python/Ruby), and familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience designing and implementing cloud-based architectures.
• 5+ years building compute architectures within Top Secret/Secret commercial cloud environments.
• 5+ years deploying applications within secure commercial cloud environments.
• 3+ years scripting with Python or Ruby.
• Experience using GitHub, GitLab, Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and enterprise cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures supporting enterprise mission applications.
• Architect, develop, and deploy applications within secure commercial cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineers and leadership to develop cloud-native solutions.
• Develop automation and scripting to streamline cloud deployments.
• Leverage enterprise cloud services to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support cloud migration initiatives and modernization projects.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend architectural improvements.
