Catholic Leadership Institute is seeking a Mission Catalyst for a fully remote, national fundraising role. You will build and steward major donor relationships, partnering with the Mission Advancement Team to meet philanthropy objectives across the country.

This is a fully remote position. We are especially seeking candidates based in Florida, Southern California, or the eastern Midwest.

Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI) provides bishops, priests, deacons, religious, and lay persons in the Roman Catholic Church with world-class, pastoral leadership formation and consulting services that strengthen their confidence and competence in ministry, enabling them to articulate a vision for their local church, to call forth the gifts of those they lead, and to create more vibrant faith communities rooted in Jesus Christ.
The Mission Catalyst is responsible for working with volunteer leaders, Mission Advancement Team members, and other key stakeholders to meet the philanthropy objectives for CLI. This includes developing strong relationships with existing and potential donor candidates throughout the country, helping to project and determine gift activity goals and engaging key volunteers in the cultivation and solicitation of donor prospects. Creating new, upgrading, and managing current donor relationships is a crucial piece of the Mission Catalyst's role. The Mission Catalyst will conduct their work with faith, creativity, independence, and gratitude to all our friends.
$95,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience, plus a full benefits package.
Donor & Prospect Management (60%)
Excel in the process of identifying, cultivating, and stewarding potential and current donors who have the capacity to make large gifts to Catholic Leadership Institute through their time, talent and treasure.
Engage current donors in meaningful ways to grow relationships and encourage continued support of CLI's work
Identify new donor prospects in the database and involve them in a meaningful way to support a thriving faith community.
Donor Communication (15%)
Prepare, deliver and follow-up on proposals and gift opportunities for major donor prospects in a timely manner after accurately assessing their level of interest and capacity in order to provide meaningful opportunities for involvement and investment.
Strategy (25%)
Plan, implement and track short-term and long-term strategies with the Mission Advancement Team in order to measure success and create accurate revenue, cash, and involvement metrics for the organization.
