Northrop Grumman Advanced Weapons – Defense Systems is seeking a Mission Assurance Engineer 3 or 4 to define and monitor mission assurance programs for the Advance Weapons BU in Northridge, CA. On-site role with ability to obtain DoD clearance.

The ideal candidate will assess AARGM, AARGM-ER, and SiAW programs, collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and government stakeholders, and drive corrective actions throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, physical science, mathematics, quality, or related technical field, with 5+ years of related experience.
• MS with 3+ years of related experience acceptable.
• Experience with structured problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality management system.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoW Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary Mission Assurance interface to Program Offices and customers.
• Lead or support investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Monitor mission assurance plans across program lifecycle.
• Assess program risks and implement practical mitigation strategies.
• Communicate status and recommendations to leadership and government customers.
• Support design, manufacturing, and supplier quality reviews and boards.
• Perform CAM duties including EVMS reporting and EAC updates.
