Job summary

JRC Integrated Systems is seeking a senior Engineer for Missile Subsystem Support Equipment and simulators to enable LOC missile handling, training, and integration efforts. You will coordinate with RTX and NUWC to deliver SE and simulators on schedule and support Navy facility operations and testing.

The role requires a DoD security clearance, strong communication, and leadership, with travel up to 50% to support program milestones and cross-branch collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, or related).
• 7+ years in defense system engineering with 2+ years in a technical leadership role on an MDAP.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance or recently held.
• Experience with missile handling equipment and simulators for testing.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, modification, procurement, and activation of missile SE.
• Lead delivery of missile simulators for weapon system development and testing.
• Coordinate SE and Simulator deliveries with other branches.
• Estimate, fund, schedule, and manage deliveries with RTX as prime contractor.
• Coordinate with AURES/AURS providers to deliver simulators on schedule.
• Support system-level testing and facility activation at SWF.
• Mentor peers and junior staff on SE and Simulator suite.
