Job summary

ExpertHiring seeks a Missile Propulsion Engineer to lead rocket propulsion design, testing, and integration within missile systems. The role interfaces with government teams and industry contractors to drive propulsion development and program execution.

The engineer will generate program briefings, support stakeholder engagements, and provide day-to-day support to DARPA program managers while ensuring alignment with contract requirements and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Requires security clearance; TS/SCI desired, secret/top secret eligible.
• 5+ years in rocket propulsion and weapons development.
• B.A./B.S. in Engineering, Science, or Math; MS/PhD preferred.
• Experience in Industry desirable; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide propulsion system design and integration expertise for missiles and propulsion performance.
• Develop and execute propulsion test plans to meet performance specs.
• Coordinate with Government and industry teams to guide program execution.
• Prepare program plans, reviews, and technical documentation for contracting offices.
• Support Government outreach and communication with various agencies.
