Job summary

IDA is seeking a Research Analyst in the S3D group to support the Missile Defense Agency at Schriever SFB, CO. The role focuses on analysis of C2BMC and BOA components of the MDS, requiring strong quantitative skills and the ability to present findings to leadership.

Responsibilities include independent analyses, test planning support, and potential travel. A DoD Secret clearance is required; IDA provides a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a relevant field or Master’s with 6+ years of experience or Bachelor’s with 8+ years of experience, across eligible disciplines.
• Ability to collect, organize, synthesize and analyze data; communicate findings clearly and independently.
• Experience with data parsing, filtering and manipulation; MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Provide technically rigorous analysis and decision support on C2BMC and BOA within the MDS.
• Support test planning and execution at MDIOC in Colorado Springs; assess system interoperability and performance.
• Brief senior leaders and other analysts on complex technical findings; travel may be required.
