Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Missile Defense System Architecture Analyst to contribute to analysis of future MDS architectures and concepts. You will model and simulate to support architecture assessments and develop analysis briefs.

The role requires active security clearances or ability to obtain TS/SCI, a STEM degree (or equivalent experience), and experience with MDS architectures and simulation tools. Strong communication and time management skills are essential.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Missile Defense System Architecture Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to participate in analysis of future Missile Defense System (MDS) architectures and concepts, and modeling and simulation (M&S) tool development to support architecture assessment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performance
• Assist in the development of analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools, post-process and assess analysis results, and prepare architecture analysis briefs/reports
• Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plans

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Active Secret clearance
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field, or equivalent work experience that meets guidelines established for job and 2+ years of related professional experience
• Basic understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts
• Some experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures
• Basic skills in interpreting results and presenting findings clearly
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, as well as collaboration with others to achieve objectives
• Strong time management skills and the ability to assess tasks based on their importance and urgency

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Experience with AFSIM or similar MDS simulation tools/frameworks
• Background in IAMD/Cruise Missile Defense systems
• Background or experience with space systems
• Experience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architectures
• Experience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activities

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $63,600.00 - $111,300.00
