Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) offers internship opportunities in missile defense and electronic warfare. You will join an interdisciplinary team to model, simulate, analyze, and develop software for defense systems, gaining hands-on experience in algorithm development, model implementation, and data analysis.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Passion for developing software and analyzing data.
  • Experience with C++, Java, or similar; Matlab or Python.
  • Eligibility for an Interim Secret level security clearance; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Model, simulate, analyze, and/or develop software for missile defense or EW systems.
  • Learn warfighting missions and domains where the team has impact.
  • Gain experience in algorithm development, model implementation, data analysis, and/or software development.
