Job summary

MTSI is seeking a Missile Defense Lethality Engineer to join our Huntsville team. You will plan and execute lethality tests, analyze results, and inform technical assessments for ballistic and hypersonic kill vehicles.

Responsibilities include managing DOE lethality assessments, coordinating hypervelocity tests, and delivering documented analyses and leadership briefings. A Secret clearance is required with eligibility for CNWDI, RD, or FRD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 7+ years of missile defense experience.
• Active or reinstatable Secret clearance with CNWDI, RD, or FRD eligibility.
• Strong background in hardware design and system integration.
• Experience leading teams to develop effective solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for high-level reports and briefings.
• Experience with missile defense lethality and CAD/data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage DOE lethality assessments for ballistic and hypersonic kill vehicles.
• Execute hypervelocity impact testing across multiple test venues and coordinate data recovery.
• Develop documentation and deliver presentations detailing methodologies and findings.

MTSI is looking for a talented Missile Defense Lethality Engineer to join our team!
