Our team delivers high-quality, customized metal solutions to a diverse clientele. We are seeking a versatile and motivated Miscellaneous Metals and Structural Steel Project Manager to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to make an impact on a small collaborative team in a fast paced environment where you will be involved in many different aspects of the project to bring the job across the finish line successfully.

Job Description:
As the Miscellaneous Metals Project Manager, you will coordinate and manage a wide range of projects from start to finish. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth project execution, meeting deadlines, meeting or beating budgets and ensuring client satisfaction. You will work on diverse projects, including commercial buildings, residential properties, infrastructure developments, and architectural metalworks.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Work with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to understand project requirements and develop detailed plans.
  • Resource Management: Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all fabrication and installation processes adhere to industry standards and company quality guidelines.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and cost controls.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for required materials and services.
  • On-site Supervision: Oversee project installations and coordinate with construction teams to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Client Communication: Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the project.
  • Change Management: Handle changes to project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Problem Solving: Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain project records and progress reports.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferred. (Experience in the industry is more important than education)
  • 3+ years of experience in miscellaneous metals fabrication, construction, or related project management roles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite and google suite.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
