Description of Work Unit: The Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology (MIP) Department is comprised of over 400 individuals who share a common passion for solving important human and animal health problems today. Research programs include those related to mycobacteria, retroviruses, prions, and arthropod-borne infectious diseases, as well as the diagnostic investigation of naturally-occurring animal diseases.
Position Summary: The department accepts applications on an ongoing basis for research positions within the department in laboratories in the areas of infectious disease research. Research Associate positions are available in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a closely related field.
