Job summary

Bomgaars is seeking a part-time cashier for evenings and weekends at our Mankato, MN location. The role requires cashier and retail experience, the ability to multi-task, and a strong focus on customer service.

You will operate the cash register, greet customers, scan and bag items, and handle returns in a friendly, efficient manner. This onsite position offers a wage range of $12.00 to $16.00 per hour, with an employee discount and a flexible schedule.

Bomgaars is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual with Cashier and retail experience to work evening and weekend schedules. Cashier positions offer an opportunity to be a productive team member while providing excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Cashier and retail experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Detail oriented
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Must be available to work evenings - 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and weekends - full availabiity on hours (shift premium paid for working weekends)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and welcome customers
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit cards, debit cards, and checks)
• Scan and bag items for customers
• Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy
• Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions/coupon redemption
• Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
• Stocking the front end of the store
• Handling phone calls

Wage: $12.00 to $16.00 per hour, based on experience
