Job summary
Orica is seeking a Mining Technical Services Representative in Georgia to support client relationships, lead technical projects, and deliver value through product stewardship and blast design improvements. You will provide field-based insights, coordinate product stewardship activities, and train customer teams on new technologies.
Role requires mining engineering background, sales/professional experience in mining or explosives, and strong techno-commercial skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mining engineering.
- Experience as a mining engineer, mining sales engineer, or related industry experience.
- Experience with technical, business, and operations aspects of mining or explosive industry.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to SHES and regulatory requirements; demonstrate safety leadership.
- Audit competency of TS personnel for group standards compliance.
- Lead teams to deliver technical projects delivering measurable value to customers.
- Identify and create opportunities with key clients, focusing on differentiated products and services.
- Prepare method statements for tenders and support Territory Managers with client presentations.
