Job summary

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 drone license required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Experience with surveying at a surface mining operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field data collection using GPS and traditional surveying equipment.
• Pilot UAS for aerial surveys and produce topographic maps and volumes.
• Draft using AutoCAD for mapping, mine plans, and permitting.
• Establish control and targets for aerial surveys; manage data in spreadsheets.
• Calculate monthly pit inventory and prepare end-of-month reports and maps.
