You will manage multidisciplinary teams, balance technical execution with client relations, and contribute to growing Schnabel’s mining practice. The role requires 5+ years in mining/geotechnical consulting, field experience, strong written and verbal communication, and willingness to travel up to 50% with potential field work in rugged environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geological, Mining, Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant mining/geotechnical consulting experience.
• Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and client communications.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and perform field work on mines and sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage mining, geological, geotechnical and multidisciplinary projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, deliverables and resources for successful execution.
• Plan field investigations, drilling programs and geotechnical explorations.
• Prepare technical reports, analyses, and permit support documents.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, regulators and internal teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff; support business development.
