Our client is seeking a Mining/Process Engineer to play an instrumental role in the organization. They will help drive continuous and operational excellence, from brine extraction to finished product. They will work side-by-side with all operational groups to solve problems and make a real impact every single day.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot process and quality issues in a hands-on, field-based environment
• Partner with operations and pond teams to stabilize plant performance and manage brine systems
• Align cavern, pond, and plant operations to meet production and quality targets
• Optimize key processes (flotation, dewatering, material handling) to improve recovery and throughput
• Lead improvement initiatives and capital projects, ensuring results stick in the field
• Support forecasting, data analysis, and continuous improvement while maintaining clear operating standards

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Self-starter who can work independently, while remaining humble and coachable
• Ability to balance intellectual design with hands-on field execution
• Comfortable shifting between a climate-controlled office and industrial field locations
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to generate solutions using sound judgement
• Must be able to effectively gather, synthesize, analyze, and present environmental information to internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to inspire confidence and trust as a competent team player
