Job summary

Magris Talc is seeking a skilled plant operator to ensure safe and efficient operation of mining and processing equipment. The role requires following MSHA and HSEQ procedures, maintaining feed flow, and coordinating with operators and technicians.

Candidate should have 1+ years of operator experience in mining/milling or industrial settings, and be able to perform pre-shift inspections and operate heavy equipment as needed. High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant mining and processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow MSHA and HSEQ procedures and policies.
• Maintain consistent plant feed flow and coordinate with mining operators.
• Monitor product grades and production rate to control feed and quality.
• Communicate with other plant operators and Quality Technicians.
• Operate front-end loader and haul trucks as needed.
• collaborate with Maintenance to keep plants at high availability.
• Complete pre-shift inspections on mobile equipment.
