Job summary

Blue Moon Metals’ Springer Mine and Processing Mill in Imlay, Nevada is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance activities, develop strategies, and maximize equipment availability while ensuring safety and environmental stewardship.

The role focuses on developing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, managing personnel and contractors, and coordinating with Operations to optimize downtime and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of industrial/mining maintenance experience.
• 3+ years in a maintenance leadership or management role.
• Experience in mining, mineral processing, manufacturing, heavy industry, or related operations preferred.
• Experience managing maintenance teams, contractors, and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop maintenance supervisors, technicians, and other direct reports.
• Direct all preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Develop equipment maintenance standards and inspection programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget and oversee procurement of materials and services.
