Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Dispatcher for Bald Mountain, NV, to support daily availability and tonnage targets. You will work 12.5-hour rotating shifts in an office setting, coordinating with the Mobile Maintenance team and field mechanics to keep equipment and dispatch processes running smoothly.

The role requires at least 1 year in mining operations, a high school diploma, and proficiency with MS Office and dispatch systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a mining operation (preferable maintenance)
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree is a plus
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of open pit and heap leach mining process
• Experience with Maintenance Health/Dispatcher is a benefit but not required
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Project
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Demonstrated history of handling confidential information

Responsibilities

• Work in an office environment for 12.5 hour rotating shifts
• Two way radio interaction with personnel
• Use analytical skills and tools to identify potential equipment issues
• Address equipment critical alarms
• Keep an accurate and detailed list of downed equipment
• Support supervisors dispatching field mechanics to ensure safe and efficient production
• Create maintenance work orders
• Coordinate with Mine Operations for delivery time compliance
• Generate daily and weekly reports to support reliability decisions
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and apply procedures applicable to position
