Job summary

Jerritt Canyon is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Network Systems Analyst to maintain and optimize critical mining IT systems. You will manage servers, networks, virtualization, storage, and cybersecurity controls while collaborating with operations, engineering, and external providers.

The role requires 3–5 years of IT infrastructure experience, Windows-based administration, and practical troubleshooting skills to ensure high availability and security for field sites and corporate networks.

Qualifications

• Diploma, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Systems Administration, Telecommunications, or a closely related discipline.
• Equivalent relevant technical qualifications and demonstrated practical experience may be considered.
• Strong foundational knowledge of network architecture, routing and switching, server administration, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure support.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, systems administration, or enterprise technical support.
• Demonstrated experience administering Windows-based infrastructure, network devices, user access, and enterprise IT systems.
• Practical experience troubleshooting network connectivity, server performance, endpoint issues, and infrastructure outages.
• Experience with backup and recovery, patch management, system monitoring, and technical documentation.
• Experience working with incident management, change management, and service request processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business, production, and remote-site requirements to determine solutions for computer systems and connectivity.
• Evaluate servers, networks, cloud, storage, and backup environments for performance, security, and integration needs.
• Gather requirements from Operations, IT, cybersecurity, and system owners and translate into specifications.
• Assess alternatives including on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and remote connectivity options.
• Develop recommendations on architecture, redundancy, and lifecycle planning for systems.
• Design and support VMware, Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and file services environments.
• Plan and implement enterprise LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and remote connectivity solutions.
• Integrate on-premises infrastructure with Azure, AWS, and vendor-managed environments.
• Create implementation, test, migration, rollback, and validation plans for projects.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and stakeholders and monitor system health and performance.
