Job summary

Turner-Mining-Group-LLC is seeking heavy equipment operators for a team-based, safety-first mining environment in Winnemucca, NV. You will operate earth-moving machines, perform startup/shutdown and routine maintenance, and follow MSHA regulations to ensure safe, efficient work.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical knowledge, GPS familiarity, and up to two years of experience with heavy off-road equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience may be substituted.
• Two years of experience operating heavy off-road construction equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy earth-moving equipment (dozers, excavators, loaders, mining trucks, scrapers) in mining contexts.
• Perform startup/shutdown procedures and daily servicing of equipment.
• Operate within design tolerances with gauges and indicators.
• Adhere to MSHA laws, safety policies, and environmental regulations.
• Practice defensive driving and safe operation at all times.
• Assist in water management, construction, labor and maintenance as needed.
• Perform utility work and operate utility equipment.
• Assist maintenance with routine repairs.
• Keep supervisor informed of potential problems.
• Other duties as assigned.
