Job summary

Turner Staffing Group is seeking a traveling Heavy Equipment Operator for a mining client in the Reno, NV area. You will operate a range of mobile equipment, support production goals, and uphold safety and MSHA standards in demanding outdoor environments.

Candidates should have experience with haul trucks, loaders, excavators, or dozers, and be willing to work day or night shifts, weekends, and overtime. Travel to mine sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy mobile equipment in mining, quarry, construction, or similar environments.
• MSHA certification preferred or willing to obtain if required.
• Ability to work day, night, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre/post shift inspections and complete documentation.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Follow mine site safety procedures and MSHA regulations.
• Work with supervisors and team to meet daily production targets.
• Maintain clean equipment cabs and work areas.
