Job summary

Ledcor is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to support mining operations in Arizona, with equipment including haul trucks, loaders, dozers and excavators. You will diagnose, repair and maintain equipment, keeping it safe, reliable and mission-ready while collaborating with operations teams.

You'll perform scheduled maintenance, read schematics, use diagnostic tools and document service records. A pre-employment drug test and MSHA Part 48 certification are required, with overtime and

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair (mining or heavy civil preferred).
• Trade certification, technical training, or equivalent experience is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.
• Experience with Cat, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy mining equipment including haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
• Repair and replace components to OEM standards, with a focus on Cat, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment.
• Complete service records and communicate equipment status to operations teams.
• Work safely with tools and equipment, following all site safety procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanics and operations to prioritize repairs and minimise downtime.
