Job summary

Ledcor is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to support our mining operations in Nevada and Idaho. Candidates will work on a fleet of haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators, ensuring critical equipment remains safe and reliable.

This position requires 2–4 years of hands-on experience with heavy mining equipment repair and strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Competitive benefits include health and wellness programs and a 401(k) matching scheme.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair (mining or heavy civil preferred).
• Experience reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.
• MSHA Part 48 (metal/non-metal) required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy mining equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections.
• Collaborate with mechanics to prioritize repairs.
