Job summary

EXP Services Inc. is seeking a Project Manager/Senior Civil Engineer, Mining to lead geotechnical projects from offices across the US, including Denver.

You will plan, design and manage tailings and mine waste facilities, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients and contractors while ensuring safety, schedule and budget adherence. A PE and 7+ years of geotechnical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Geological Engineering; post-graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant Geotechnical experience, preferably in consulting.
• 5 years experience with Tailings, Dam and Mine waste; PE required.
• Experience managing engineering teams and business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals for geotechnical projects with cost estimates and timelines.
• Lead geotechnical modelling, analyses, investigations and reporting.
• Design studies for tailings and mine waste facilities.
• Manage projects, staff, budgets and client relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors.
