Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Geologist to join the West Region and support mining and infrastructure projects. You will conduct field investigations, data analysis, and technical reporting to inform decisions from early planning through execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field and 4+ years of professional geological experience or equivalent
• 4+ years of professional geological experience or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in geological investigations for mining, infrastructure, or environmental projects
• Field experience including logging, sampling, and site investigations
• Strong data analysis with geological/geochemical datasets
• Familiarity with geological modeling and visualization software
• Ability to work in a team and communicate technical information clearly

Responsibilities

• Conduct geological fieldwork including core logging, site mapping, sampling, and investigations for mining/infrastructure projects
• Collect, compile, and analyze geological, geochemical, and geotechnical data to support interpretation
• Develop geological interpretations, cross-sections, and conceptual models
• Assist with resource modeling, data validation, and interpretation under guidance of senior staff
• Apply procedures and standards to ensure quality of geological data and deliverables
